This week the children have enjoyed learning about space! we have been thinking about who might go to space, how they might get there and what they might see. We thought that astronaut's might go to space in a rocket. Following on from this, we created our own rocket. 

In maths the children have learnt what equal means, equal means the same. In provision we have been building two towers that are equal. We have worked with numbers up to 10.

This week we have been learning and celebrating Chinese New year!

Did you know it’s the year of the snake?

We have learnt lots of key information about Chinese New Year, red is a lucky colour, there is a dragon dance and a lantern festival. In provision we have been busy preparing for our own Chinese New Year. We have made lanterns, fans, good luck signs, snakes and lots more. We even did some Chinese dancing and dragon dancing.
