Our Spring 2 Journey

Some mystery seeds have arrived in class!

The children thought very hard about what might grow from the seeds. The children came up with an idea of how to find out what the seeds will grow into. The children then decided to plant the seeds. Over the next couple of weeks, the children will be observing the changes and growth that takes place.

Today we had some special visitors in class... PCSO's came into school to talk to us! We found out what the police do, how they keep people safe and that they are there to keep everyone safe! We had a great time dressing up! We can't wait for hero's week at the end of term.

The children really enjoyed their trip to the allotment! The children had a go at planting radishes and red lettuces. The children got to take care of the other plants, by weeding so the plants can grow big and strong! The children came back to school and planted their own beans after their trip to the allotment!
