Using and promoting quality language is a high priority in the early years and as a team we are keen to share with you some of the new vocabulary your children have been learning in class. Please support us by talking with your children at home about these words, what they mean and how they can be used in different contexts.

Promoting a language rich environment is helping to give our children the best possible start in life.

What a busy Monday we have had, the children have started the week with a great attitude to learning and have got stuck into all their challenges! Keep up the hard work Ruby class.

Outdoor Learning

This week the children have enjoyed learning all about the life cycle of a frog in preparation for our learning around the book 'Tadpoles Promise'. In Ruby Reception the children are very lucky to have tadpoles of their very own! The children have loved watching the tadpoles and have noticed the tadpoles are getting bigger. Please have a chat with your child at home about the learning we have been doing in school this week.
